Thermoelectric cooler assemblies

Thermoelectric (Peltier) Assemblies built by Cooltech using quality thermoelectric modules from Ferrotec.

Air to air thermoelectric assemblies are a reliable and cost effective solution for air conditioning small enclosures.A peltier device or devices are installed between two fan driven heat exchangers. The heat generated by the hot side is dissipated outside the enclosure while the cabinet is recirculated and cooled by the cold side.

By reversing the polarity on the thermoelectric cooler you can change from cooling to heating. A bi-polar controller will do this automatically to maintain the predetermined set temperature.

Air to liquid thermoelectric assemblies are cooling/heating systems for liquid media. The peltier device is installed between an air heat exchanger and a liquid heat exchanger or cold plate. The liquid circulating through the cold plate can be coolled or heated by reversing the polarity of the current through the peltier device.

Air to plate thermoelectric assemblies are designed to provide temperature management of a cold or hot block. The heat generated by the hot side of the peltier device when in cooling mode is dissipated by the air heat exhanger and the cold side of the module cools the block. These assemblies are used for LED and sensor cooling as well as reagent cooling in life sciences research.

Long life thermoelectric modules can be used in applications where temperature cysling is required, for instance in the amplification of DNA.
